Do you know what all those charges, fees, and taxes are on your utility bills?
Utilit Bill Audit

A utility bill audit will identify overcharges on your bills and obtain refunds for you.

More than 70% of the bills we audit have errors and overcharges on them. Our experienced team is ready to audit your organization’s utility, telecom, and waste disposal bills to make sure you are not paying too much.

Our audits uncover wrong surcharges, incorrect taxes and tariffs, usage anomalies, duplicate billings, erroneous meter readings, and even malfunctioning meters. We don’t do an energy audit of your facility, sell you energy-efficient equipment, or connect you to an alternative energy supplier. We just audit your bills.

There is very little of your time required, we do not come onsite and disrupt your operations. And there is no out-of-pocket cost to you. You pay us by sharing a portion of your refund, after you receive it directly from your utility provider. If we recover nothing, you owe us nothing.

Four Eligible Organizations

Utility bill audits can be done for nonprofits, agriculture, manufacturers, and governments.

Eligible organizations that can benefit from a utility bill audit include:
  • Agriculture organizations that grow things such as farms, greenhouses, and nurseries.
  • Manufacturers make things and include printers of newspapers, books, and brochures.
  • Government facilities may be your local school or library, a state-owned sports facility, or a federal building.
  • Nonprofit entities are not only social service agencies, churches, and independent schools, but may include hospitals, credit unions, and veteran organizations.

The services that we audit differ by state, but can include utilities (electric, natural gas, propane, water, sewer, and waste disposal) and telecom (phone, Internet, and cable). You just give as one recent bill for each of these services. Our audit team will review the prior 3 years of bills, complete and submit all the paperwork, and  work with the utility provider until you receive your refund.
